Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
JBoss EAP (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Undertow HTTP/1.1 chunked-transfer decoder. The absence of limits on size and count allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger an OutOfMemory error in the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), which is the engine that provides the runtime environment for Java applications. This results in the cessation of all deployments on the listener, leading to a Denial of Service.
