Description
Improper buffer restrictions within Ring 3 (the least privileged level of the CPU architecture) for User Applications may allow a denial of service. An unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user can trigger this issue via local access through a low complexity attack, requiring no user interaction or special internal knowledge. This can lead to a high impact on system availability and a low impact on integrity.
