Description
Improper privilege management within Ring 2: Privileged Process may allow an escalation of privilege. An unprivileged software adversary with an unauthenticated user could potentially exploit this via local access, requiring no user interaction. Ring 2 is a CPU privilege level that provides more permissions than user applications but fewer than the operating system kernel. This issue may impact system confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
