Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/imagination component where the
prepare job() callback incorrectly handles geometry jobs with a paired fragment job. Specifically, the pvr queue prepare job() function may fail to account for the mismatched fragment job and geometry queue, leading the system to check for available space in the wrong Command Control Center Block (CCCB). This can cause the system to wrongly assume sufficient space exists, unblocking run job() and resulting in an incomplete sequence of commands being written to the CCCB. This behavior can lead to kernel warnings and potential job timeouts.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
