Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A NULL pointer dereference exists in the
arm ffa firmware component. The function ffa partition info get() passes the uuid str variable directly to uuid parse() without verifying if it is NULL. If a caller provides a NULL value, the sequence of calls through uuid parse() to uuid is valid() results in a kernel panic.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
