Description
A heap buffer overflow exists in the regular expression functions of the database management system. This occurs when processing text that fails encoding validation, leading to unanticipated data growth during round-tripping through
pg wchar. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the operating system user running the database.Recommendations
