Description
Type confusion in the PostgreSQL
ctid data type selectivity estimator allows an object creator to view a calculation derived from the value of an arbitrary 4-byte span of memory by using a chosen non-ctid input. Although the resulting calculation loses precision, it is possible to recover substantial memory values, potentially leading to the disclosure of protected information.Recommendations
