Description
Type confusion involving the
internal data type arguments allows any user to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the operating system user running the database. This occurs through calls to functions that utilize the internal argument type, which represents a class of mutually-incompatible data structures not intended for access via SQL. Although the system was designed to prevent such function calls, gaps in this prevention mechanism enable the issue.Recommendations
