Description A buffer over-read exists in the ascii() SQL function, which occurs when the system reads memory beyond the intended boundary. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a crafted text value to disclose up to 3 bytes of data following the end of a specific memory allocation.
Recommendations Update to version 18.5 or later. Update to version 17.11 or later. Update to version 16.15 or later. Update to version 15.19 or later. Update to version 14.24 or later.
