Description
An incorrect ownership assignment occurs during the execution of the
ALTER TABLE ALTER TYPE command. This issue reassigns ownership of dependent statistics objects to the current user, which improperly allows the table owner to execute DROP STATISTICS and ALTER STATISTICS commands while denying these actions to the previous owner of the statistics object. This flaw in access control could potentially allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to delete or modify data.Recommendations
