Description Improper input validation allows an authenticated user with low-privileged access to trigger an internal error condition by providing specially crafted data. This results in an uncaught exception—an error that occurs during program execution that is not caught by an exception handler—which terminates the Kibana process. This leads to a denial of service, making the application unavailable to all users until the service is restarted, and the condition can be triggered repeatedly.
