Description A flaw in the libdm configuration file parser allows an attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by crafting a malicious Logical Volume Manager (LVM) metadata configuration with deeply nested structures. This leads to uncontrolled recursion, which exhausts the stack and causes any LVM command reading the metadata to crash.
