Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
rt2x00lib probe dev() function where the full rt2x00lib remove dev() teardown process is triggered for all probe failures. This occurs even if drv data allocation or workqueue allocation fails before the intf work, autowakeup work, and sleep work items are initialized. Consequently, the teardown path attempts to drain work items that have not been set up, leading to invalid work drains.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
