Description A memory leak occurs in the net/mlx5 component when workloads repeatedly allocate and release mkeys that carry TPH steering-tag hints, such as churning RDMA MRs. The issue arises because the mlx5 st dealloc index() function removes the entry from idx xa when the last reference to a steering-tag (ST) table entry is dropped, but fails to free the associated mlx5 st idx data allocation. This causes the kmalloc slab to grow over time as mlx5 st idx data structures remain unreferenced in memory.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
