Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the s390/diag component where the memtop get page count() function fails to use array index nospec(). Because the level variable is controlled by user space and used to read from an array, this omission allows for speculative execution, a process where a processor executes instructions ahead of time to improve performance, which can be exploited to leak sensitive information.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
