Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak occurs in the octeontx2-af driver when the nix setup bpids() function fails. The function allocates a BPID bitmap using rvu alloc bitmap(), which relies on kcalloc(). If subsequent devm kcalloc() allocations for BPID mapping arrays fail, the function returns without releasing the previously allocated bitmap.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
