Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An out-of-bounds read exists in the debug logging of the
ims pcu irq() function. The issue occurs because the function unconditionally prints data from pcu->urb in buf, even when the interrupt is triggered for pcu->urb ctrl, where the actual data is stored in pcu->urb ctrl buf. If the urb->actual length for the control URB exceeds pcu->max in size, the system reads memory outside the intended buffer boundaries.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
