Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the OpenRISC architecture implementation regarding jump label SMP syncing. The system fails to properly invalidate instruction caches (icaches) on remote cores, which can cause static key sequences to remain in a stale state after being updated. This occurs because the kick all cpus sync() function does not ensure a full flush of all cache lines on OpenRISC. The problem was observed when calling the static branch enable() function, leading to coherency issues.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
