Description A node reference leak exists in the populate cache leaves function within the RISC-V cacheinfo component. The issue occurs during a while loop where the reference to prev is dropped in each iteration. If the loop terminates naturally because the variable np is NULL, the subsequent call to of node put(np) does nothing, leaving the last valid node stored in prev without its reference being dropped.

Recommendations Update the Linux kernel to a version where the final of node put(np) call in the populate cache leaves function is changed to of node put(prev).
