Description An issue exists in the NTFS driver where the get nr free clusters() function performs a heap allocation for a temporary file ra state before publishing the precomputed free cluster count, setting NVolFreeClusterKnown(), and waking vol->free waitq. If this allocation fails, the worker returns without setting the flag or waking waiters, which can cause callers waiting for the free count to block indefinitely. A similar issue affects the get nr free mft records() function during MFT bitmap scanning.
