Description
A memory leak occurs during the initialization of the Block Translation Table (BTT) in the nvdimm module. Specifically, arenas allocated by the
discover arenas() or create arenas() functions are not properly released when certain error paths are triggered within the btt init() function.Recommendations
Call the
free arenas() function from the affected error paths to release the allocations.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
