Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the batman-adv module where the batadv frag send packet() function fails to properly handle socket buffers (skb) during pre-checks for empty payloads or zero fragment sizes. Because the function returns an error without consuming the provided skb, it leads to a failure in freeing unfragmentable packets.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
