Description In the arm64 KVM implementation, the system unconditionally uses cacheable memory attributes when constructing an L1 VNCR mapping, regardless of whether the underlying PFN is memory. This can lead to an SError during writeback if the endpoint does not support cacheable memory attributes. The issue occurs because the kvm translate vncr() function does not currently retrieve the VMA. SEA refers to a Synchronous External Abort, a type of system error indicating a failure in a memory access operation.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
