Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the AFS (Andrew File System) implementation where the afs insert volume into cell() function incorrectly assigns the AFS VOLUME RM TREE flag to the new volume instead of the replaced volume. This logic error results in the old volume being removed from the cell's volume tree twice, while the new volume is never removed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
