Description In the aspeed-g6-pwm-tacho driver, the aspeed tach val to rpm() function fails to verify if the tachometer value is zero before performing a division operation. If the hardware reports a tachometer value of 0—which may occur due to a hardware glitch, a stuck edge, or an extremely fast pulse—the tach div variable evaluates to 0. Consequently, passing tach div as the divisor to the do div() function triggers a divide-by-zero exception, resulting in a kernel panic.
