Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The RDMA/irdma driver contains an issue where a waitqueue and an explicit request done flag were used without proper memory barriers. Memory barriers are synchronization primitives that ensure memory operations are performed in a specific order. To resolve this, the waitqueue and flag mechanism is replaced with a completion, which is a synchronization primitive specifically designed to signal the completion of an event.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
