Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA/nldev component where locking is insufficient when accessing
mr->pd. Due to rereg mr, the Protection Domain (PD) is variable, causing race conditions during accesses in nldev. The fix involves using mr->device instead of mr->pd->device and implementing an rdma restrack sync() operation to ensure all previous nldev touches to the memory region (mr) are completed before accessing the PD pointer.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
