Description
An issue exists in the ext4 file system on 64-bit systems regarding the mapping of fast commit wait and wake bits. Dynamic inode states are stored in the upper half of
i flags, and the ext4 test inode state() function applies a +32 offset to access them. However, the fast-commit wait and wake paths used raw EXT4 STATE * values for the wait key, bypassing this mapping. This affects the FC COMMITTING and FC FLUSHING DATA waits.Recommendations
