Description Exclusive maps, also known as excl prog hash, are designed to be accessible only by the specific program whose hash matches. This restriction is typically enforced by the check map prog compatibility() function when a map is referenced by a program. However, a bpf map elem iterator binds its target map during attach time via the bpf iter attach map() function rather than referencing it from the program. This bypasses the exclusivity check and allows the iterator to expose the map value as a writable buffer.
