Description An issue exists in the dm poll bio() function, which serves as the ->poll bio() callback for stacked dm devices. When using io uring IOPOLL on a dm-stripe target, the system may perform a spinning poll on a target queue via blk mq poll() from within dm poll bio(). This sequence—dm poll bio() to bio poll() to blk mq poll()—can keep a task active long enough to trigger an RCU CPU stall before the system can perform a need resched() check in io iopoll check().
