Description
An issue exists in the
accel/amdxdna component where the copy to user() function does not properly limit the amount of data returned to user space based on the buffer size provided by the application. When the provided buffer is smaller than the actual data size, the system fails instead of returning only the portion of data that fits within the buffer.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
