Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A resource leak occurs in the
pqm create queue() function when MES is enabled. If the amdgpu amdkfd alloc kernel mem() function fails during the initial queue creation for a process, the system returns an error without executing the necessary cleanup. Consequently, the clear bit() function is not called for the qid variable in the pqm->queue slot bitmap, causing the reserved QID bit to remain set. This leads to a gradual exhaustion of available queue slots.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
