Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A divide-by-zero issue exists in the
calculate mcache setting() function within the drm/amd/display component. When a plane is processed with a zero-area viewport, the function may exit early with num mcaches, mvmpg width, and mvmpg height all set to zero. This condition leads to a divide-by-zero panic and can cause an underflow of the num mcaches variable.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
