Description On certain i.MX platforms, a system hang can occur during the suspend and resume process. This happens because some I2C client drivers use a periodic workqueue that continues to trigger I2C transfers during the time window between suspend noirq and the system entering suspend, or between the system starting to resume and resume noirq. During these intervals, essential I2C controller resources, such as the clock and pinctrl, may be disabled or not yet restored. If a transfer is triggered, the driver attempts to access I2C registers while the hardware is unavailable, leading to the system hang.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
