Description
A potential deadlock exists in the
mpi3mr fault uevent emit() function. This function operates within the fault watchdog and reset paths where host I/O might already be blocked. The use of GFP KERNEL allocations—specifically within the local kzalloc obj() and inside kobject uevent env()—can trigger a memory reclaim process. If this reclaim process waits on the already blocked I/O, a deadlock occurs.Recommendations
