Description A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use) issue exists in the adt7470 hardware monitoring driver. A race condition occurs when a concurrent update of the cached fan value happens between the FAN DATA VALID() check and the FAN PERIOD TO RPM() conversion. If the fan data becomes 0 during this interval, it triggers a divide-by-zero crash.
