Description A buffer overflow occurs in the 3DGS MDL7 Model Output Mesh Generator component within the file code/AssetLib/MDL/MDLLoader.cpp. The issue resides in the Assimp::MDLImporter::GenerateOutputMeshes 3DGS MDL7() function, which can be exploited remotely.

Recommendations As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of the Assimp::MDLImporter::GenerateOutputMeshes 3DGS MDL7() function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
