Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
openssl encrypt versions prior to 1.4.0
Description
The software contains hardcoded default JSON Web Token (JWT) signing secrets within the
config.py file that successfully pass validation checks. An attacker with access to the source code can use these secrets to forge valid JWT tokens for any client id, allowing unauthorized authenticated access to the keyserver and telemetry APIs.Recommendations
