Description UpTrain is an open-source platform used to evaluate and improve generative AI applications. The /create project endpoint allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the host system, typically within the Docker container, by manipulating the checks and metadata parameters. Remote code execution refers to the ability of an attacker to execute commands on a remote machine over a network.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. Avoid using the checks and metadata parameters in the /create project endpoint until the issue is resolved.
