Description
Insufficient protection against management plane flooding attacks allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. By sending a high volume of ICMP, SSH, or HTTP traffic, an attacker can increase CPU utilization, making the device manager web GUI, SSH, and API inaccessible. Data traffic passing through the device remains unaffected.
