Description A code execution issue exists in the Git node. The node executes specific repository-local git configuration values without proper neutralization. Consequently, any Git node operation performed against a repository containing a malicious value allows that value to be executed with the privileges of the n8n process user. This issue cannot be triggered via the Git node configuration and requires a separate file-write vulnerability to place the malicious value within the repository.

Recommendations Update to version 1.123.69 or later. Update to version 2.33.4 or later. Update to version 2.34.1 or later.
