Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Submariner (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw allows a malicious spoke cluster to redirect network traffic from connected peer clusters by publishing a specially crafted network endpoint. The system does not properly validate network subnets provided by the cluster, allowing it to declare arbitrary network ranges. As a result, traffic intended for these ranges is rerouted through the attacker's tunnel, which may lead to network disruption or unauthorized information disclosure.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
