Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A slab-use-after-free issue exists in the vsock/virtio component of the Linux kernel. The RX worker continues to refill the RX queue when the buffer count is low, even after the
rx run flag is cleared. This allows work queued across virtio vsock vqs del() to add buffers after the virtqueues have been deleted, leading to a memory access violation in the virtqueue add sgs() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
