Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the vsock/virtio component where RX, TX, and event workers read their virtqueue before locking and checking the corresponding run flag. This occurs during device suspend and resume operations when replacement virtqueues are installed. A worker delayed across freeze and restore processes may observe the running state of a replacement queue while still holding a pointer to a deleted queue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
