Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak occurs in the atlantic network driver when an interface is taken down. The
aq ring rx deinit() function only processes the region of the ring posted to hardware, failing to visit slots that were consumed but not yet reposted due to the batched refill strategy used in aq ring rx fill(). This results in the leak of pages and DMA mappings. Additionally, a failure in aq ptp ring alloc() can lead to aq ptp ring deinit() attempting to access a ring that has already been freed.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
