Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
cxacru cm() function where the driver fails to kill the rcv urb (USB Request Block) when an error occurs during the submission or waiting process of snd urb. This leaves the rcv urb active. During initialization, specifically within cxacru atm start(), the driver may ignore this error and call cxacru poll status(), which triggers cxacru cm() again. Attempting to submit the still-active rcv urb results in a warning within the usb submit urb() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
