Description A memory leak exists in the Btrfs file system. The issue occurs within the btrfs do encoded write() function, where an extent changeset is not properly freed before the function returns. This was identified through local fuzzing.
Recommendations Update the Linux kernel to a version where the btrfs do encoded write() function is patched to free the extent changeset before returning.
