Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the IPVS (IP Virtual Server) component where a local attacker can modify a packet during processing. The system reads the IP ihl (Internet Header Length) field multiple times, which can lead to out-of-bounds access. Specifically, in the ip vs nat icmp() function, data can be written beyond the validated memory area.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
