Description A code injection flaw exists in the Groovy Code Handler component. A remote attacker can exploit this by manipulating the executeSmartFilterTest() function located in the kafka-ui-api/src/main/java/com/provectus/kafka/ui/controller/MessagesController.java file.

Recommendations As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the executeSmartFilterTest() function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
