Description
An implementation fault in the
verify() VQL function allows users with NOTEBOOK EDIT permissions, such as those in an analyst role, to overwrite existing artifacts in the global artifact repository without the necessary permissions. The verify() function is intended to check artifacts for syntactic and other issues.Recommendations
